Buck A. VanTrease D.V.M.
Dr. Van Trease, the owner of the practice, is a graduate of Kansas State University Class of 1984. He spent 20 years in Phoenix Arizona as a practice owner before moving to Austin Texas in 2002. He has been very active in our pet community, with special events like the "Mighty Texas Dog Walk", guest speaker for several dog clubs, Search-N-Rescue, and Talk Radio to name a few. Special interests include surgery, internal medicine, and endocrinology. He is also a member of the Captial Area Veterinary Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He and his wife Wendy of 14 years have three beautiful children, James, CeCe and Billie Kaye. His family is very pet friendly and includes two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, and whatever else the kids drag home on a regular basis!
Leslie M. Ragland D.V.M.
Dr. Ragland is a graduate of Texas A & M University Class of 1984. She has lived in Austin with her husband John of 16 years and their two teenage daughters, Emma and Caroline. Her family pets include Tess (the cattle dog), Sophie (the Boston Terrier), and Max (the cranky mean cat). Dr. Ragland has been at our practice for 18 years this June, and has a large client following that enjoys her upbeat, caring personality.
